Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is located in the Century Square of the Administrative and Cultural Center of Shanghai Pudong New Area, covering an area of 68,000 square meters and a construction area of 100,600 square meters. The first exhibition was opened on December 18, 2001, and the second exhibition was opened in May 2005. The building of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is a spiraling asymmetric structure, which is low in the west and high in the east, symbolizing the evolution of natural history and human civilization.
