Exam reschedules are not common, but do occur for a number of reasons, including pandemic restrictions, weather events and local situations. Whenever possible you will be rescheduled for a different date within your exam window at the same location. Sometimes it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment for a date that is sooner than your original appointment. Additionally, if there are no open appointments at that location, you may be rescheduled within a 50-mile radius of your originally selected center.

If your rescheduled appointment does not work with your schedule, please contact Prometric directly for assistance with rescheduling your exam to another available appointment within the same exam window. Due to high call volume, you may experience long wait times. Alternatively, if it's prior to the published rescheduling deadline for your exam window, then you can self-reschedule online, pay the rescheduling fee, then seek reimbursement via the reimbursement request form. However, we are unable to guarantee that there will be availability for your preferred date and location. If you successfully reschedule your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email from Prometric and your CFA Program candidate tile will be updated with your new appointment details.
