China Youth University of Political Studies (CYU) was established on the basis of the Central School of China Youth League and is currently affiliated to the Ministry of Education and All-China Youth Federation. Conveniently located in Beijing , the capital of China, CYU has a strong academic atmosphere.

 The M.A programmes of CYU launched in 2003. In the year of 2018, CYU initiated the plan to develop Ph. D programmes. At present, CYU has M.A programmes of Theories of Marxism, Philosophy, Social Work and Youth Study, and the majors include Ideological and Political Education, Basic Principles of Marxism, Sinicization of Marxism, Marxist Philosophy, and Social Work.

 CYU was the first university which was named Civilized Campus and Garden-Style Campus by the government of Beijing. CYU has a well-established system of accommodation, library, stadium and on-line service.
